Times are difficult
Questions swirl around us
Learning like there’s no adult
Problems and struggle leading to fuss
But Fortunate are the Weak
Young we learned that only the strong can make it
Young we are classified as Strong or Weak
Now we are learning that motivation fails us
Which we can admit
Learned are the Weak
Now we are learning of our strengths
We may be down, but the world is changing
We are unique
Everything is rearranging
Understanding are the Weak
We still get up and face the day
Anxious hands and shifting eyes
Still we take the world by surprise
Adapting are the Weak
Because we learned what motivates us
We have found things to wake to and trust
Be it friends, family, or music
We learned it’s okay to be seen as weak
Fortunate are the Weak
