Social Media Engagement Policy

Thank you for following Forward Together. This page and all it’s social media channels are run in partnership with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS). We participate in social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) to give parents and young people supportive communities as they connect with one another and develop healthy relationships. Our pages share evidence-based research on the importance of connection, and give helpful advice on how adults and youth can start and sustain strong, healthy relationships – often directly from Colorado parents and youth.

We do our best to respond to comments and messages submitted to this page. However, if you have a specific question about connected relationships, or feedback for the page moderators, please visit this page, or send an email to forwardtogetherco@gmail.com.

Comment and Response Policy

Thank you for following Forward Together. This page is run in partnership with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS). We participate in social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) to provide resources and opportunities to connect to young people across Colorado.

We do our best to respond to comments and direct messages submitted to this page. However, if you have a specific question about connected relationships, or feedback for the page moderators, please visit this page, or send an email to forwardtogetherco@gmail.com.

On Instagram and TikTok, a comment will be deleted if it contains:

  • Hate speech
  • Profanity, obscenity or vulgarity
  • Nudity or inappropriate exposure
  • Defamation to a person or people
  • Name calling and/or personal attacks
  • Comments whose main purpose are to sell a product
  • Comments that infringe on copyrights
  • Spam comments, such as the same comment posted repeatedly on a profile
  • Other comments that the CDPHE/CDHS Social Media team deems inappropriate

Repeated violations may cause the author to be blocked from the CDPHE/CDHS Facebook page.

We understand that social media is a 24/7 medium; however, our moderation capabilities are not. We may not see every inappropriate comment or direct message right away, and we are trusting in the maturity of our community to ignore personal attacks and negative speech or respond politely.

Please contact forwardtogetherco@gmail.com if you have any questions.
